This  one-day, hands-on workshop will equip you with the fundamental  knowledge and practical skills necessary to safely perform basic face  and body piercings. Through a combination of classroom instruction,  demonstrations, and supervised practice, you'll gain the confidence to  pierce a variety of body parts with precision and care.

Workshop Objectives:

• Understand the fundamentals of aseptic technique and piercing safety.
• Identify the appropriate anatomy for various piercings.
• Grasp the proper selection and use of piercing tools and jewelry.
• Perform basic piercings on mannequins under the guidance of experienced instructors.
• Develop effective client consultation techniques.
• Craft aftercare instructions to ensure optimal healing.

Workshop Curriculum:

Session (Theory):

• Introduction to face and body piercing
• Aseptic technique and sterilization procedures
• Anatomy and piercing placement for common piercings (e.g., earlobes, nostrils, eyebrows, navels, tongues)
• Client consultation: communication, expectations, and contraindications
• Jewelry selection and materials
• Piercing tools and their proper use

Session (Hands-On):

• Demonstration of piercing techniques by instructors
• Supervised practice on mannequins using piercing equipment
• Marking placement
• Performing the piercing with sterile technique
• Jewelry insertion and closure
• Aftercare instructions and troubleshooting

Please Note:

• This workshop is intended for individuals with no prior piercing experience.
• Piercing will be performed on mannequins only, not live models.
• Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and wear closed-toe shoes.
